RAF Cosford, Shropshire

The northern site of the RAF Museum, with halls devoted to the Cold War, research and development aircraft, warplanes, transport and training aircraft, and RAF history. Enough to keep the visitor occupied for an all-day visit. The site is vast and contains about 70 aircraft.
Note the unique display of three V-bombers in the Cold War hall. Admission is free, but there is a charge for car parking. Visitors are expected to ‘check in’ via the visitor centre building.
