I have visited a large number of locations over the years. I feel it is worthwhile to record them, and provide some guidance for others who might enjoy visiting them. My remarks give priority to information you could only discover by visiting the location.
Please note that 99% of these locations have their own website where you can find the usual visit-planning information. I’m not including links on my blog because relevant links are readily available via Google. In some cases, the “official” sites just provide visit-planning info, and if you want interesting facts about a location you need to look elsewhere.
